About

Built by a video production professional.

My name is Pierre. Before writing a line of code for Proxia, I spent years in video and audio: production, live control rooms, AV project management, and teaching students how to build an audiovisual project from scratch.

The audiovisual world at large is my home turf: formats, codecs, the logic of a well-structured DaVinci or Premiere workflow, broadcast requirements, running a shoot, the constraints of an event installation. This isn't a surface-level background, it's what I practice every day.

The problem I decided to solve

In audiovisual training, I watched the same scene play out dozens of times: a student hands in an edit, convinced it's clean. There's a sync drift on track 3. A J-cut that snaps instead of flowing. A project structure that's going to cause problems at the color grading stage. Things that are objectively verifiable, but easy to miss once you've been buried in a project too long.

On the professional side, the problem takes a different shape. Supervisors don't have time to comb through every deliverable before sign-off, and struggle to keep track of incoming renders. Feedback travels by email or voice message, with no traceability. Renders go out to the client with annotations scattered across four different tools. Teams have no shared language to define what “quality” means, and no unified space to manage versions, centralize feedback, and track revisions through to final delivery.

I looked for a tool that would do this groundwork: rigorous, systematic auditing, render management, and feedback flowing across the team and to the client. It didn't exist in this form. I decided to build it.

Three areas of expertise, one project

Proxia Studio is the convergence of three fields I genuinely practice.

Video production

Production, post-production, broadcast, live events, installations, AV project management. AVA's features are defined by hands-on practice, not generic specs.

Education

Years spent helping learners build their audiovisual projects. What students don't see, what instructors don't have time to check, and how the two interact: that's the engine behind the product.

Development

Every architectural decision, every feature, every trade-off comes from a real need on the ground. Proxia Studio is designed to evolve with the people who use it: user feedback directly shapes priorities, and everyone can actively contribute to making AVA more precise. The more active the community, the better the platform and its AI become. It's an intelligence that grows with the craft, not despite it.

What Proxia isn't

Proxia isn't a tool meant to replace the editor, the project manager, or the supervisor. The AI doesn't edit in your place, doesn't make your creative choices, doesn't override your judgment. It does what it's actually good at: reading structured data, detecting anomalies, answering technical questions precisely, and structuring how renders and feedback flow within a team.

Proxia aims to give you the outside perspective and the rigorous audit you never had time to run yourself, then let you decide what to do with it.

The platform evolves with user feedback. If you work in video production and something's missing, it isn't some distant startup that decides whether it matters, it's someone who shares your context.
