Proxia Studio is an AI-assisted platform that supports video production. The platform is built around AVA, an assistant specialized in editing project analysis, technical coaching, and audiovisual knowledge. Proxia is not an editing automation tool or an online editor. It is an analysis and coaching environment that fits into your existing workflow without replacing it.

Proxia is built for three main types of users:

• Students & instructors: to learn editing best practices and grade submissions in a teaching setting.
• Freelance editors: to audit the technical quality of their projects before delivering to clients.
• Production teams & studios: to supervise multiple editors, align on standards, and manage deliveries.

In short: anyone whose day-to-day revolves around DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.

AVA is the intelligence engine behind every Proxia feature. It operates on three levels:

• Chat assistant: ask it anything about editing, sound, broadcast, or production. It answers from a specialized audiovisual knowledge base.
• Analysis engine: when you upload a project file, AVA parses the timeline, detects anomalies, and generates the integrity report.
• Supervision backbone: supervisors rely on AVA's analyses to manage their teams and cohorts.

AVA is not a rebranded general-purpose LLM. Its knowledge base is built and maintained by AV professionals, and its analyses are grounded in the real-world specifics of DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro.

No. Proxia works from the native export files of your editing software. DaVinci Resolve (XML, DRP) and Adobe Premiere Pro (PRPROJ) are natively supported. You keep your usual workflow. Proxia fits into it without friction.

AVA parses your project file cut by cut: track structure, editing pace, transition consistency, audio anomalies (dropouts, sync drift), and overall project integrity. Each issue found is prioritized and explained. The integrity score (0 to 100) gives a quick overview of the project's health.

It reflects a set of technical rules and audiovisual best practices that can be objectively verified: frame-rate consistency, transition handling, sync anomalies, track structure. It is not an artistic judgment. It is an audit of technical rigor. The lower the score, the more critical points need to be addressed before delivery.

AVA is optimized for the most common post-production formats: fiction, documentary, advertising, corporate, and events. Most DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro projects are analyzed with no special configuration. Very complex timelines (large multicam, live projects) may require longer processing times.

No, with an important distinction depending on the type of data:

• Project files (XML, DRP, PRPROJ): never used for training, never shared. They are used solely to produce your analysis report.
• Q&A exchanges with AVA: can help improve the model, but only with your explicit opt-in, never by default.

Every workspace is strictly isolated.

Proxia supports two levels of analysis depending on the format:

• Standard analysis: XML files (FCP7 export from DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro).
• Advanced analysis: native DRP files (DaVinci Resolve) and PRPROJ files (Premiere Pro), which enable a deeper structural inspection of the project.

XML is the recommended entry point to get started.

Yes. Proxia accepts the most common video formats: MP4, MOV, MXF, AVI, MKV, WEBM, R3D, BRAW. Video files let AVA analyze the visual content in addition to the project structure.

Project files (XML, DRP, PRPROJ) are processed and then kept in your Proxia Cloud space within your plan's limits (storage is limited on the free plan). Your media files (raw footage, source video) are never requested or stored. Only the project's metadata is used for analysis.

Proxia's backend and database are hosted in Europe (Ireland region) via Railway and Supabase. Your project files are stored on Cloudflare R2 (global network). The frontend is deployed on Vercel's global edge network. Sensitive application data never leaves the European Union.

Yes. Every file uploaded to Proxia Cloud is isolated per user at the database level (PostgreSQL Row Level Security). No other user can access your files. Your personal knowledge base files (RAG) are strictly private by default.

No. AVA uses the Google Gemini API under a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Under Google Cloud's API terms, data submitted through the API is not used by Google to train or improve its general-purpose AI models.

Every uploaded file goes through two checks: a magic-bytes check (the file's real binary signature) and a structural validation of the format. A file whose extension does not match its actual content is rejected. This validation happens server-side, independently of the browser.

Yes. Proxia Studio is a French company (SASU) subject to French law and to the GDPR. Data is processed on explicit legal bases (contract performance, consent, legitimate interest, legal obligation). You can read the full privacy policy.

Send your request to privacy@proxia.studio. We commit to responding within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from your settings.

The Explorer plan (free) gives you access to standard analysis (XML only), limited AVA chat usage, and restricted storage. Credits reset every month, so the free plan can be used occasionally with no commitment. If you work on projects regularly and need advanced analysis (DRP/PRPROJ), extended storage, or team features, paid plans are available. Full credit costs per action are listed on the Pricing page.

Every action on Proxia (project analysis, AVA message, etc.) uses a certain number of credits. Your balance is shown in real time in the interface. Credits reset automatically every month based on your plan. Unused credits do not roll over. The full cost of each action is listed on the Pricing page.

Yes. Sign-up is free and requires no card. You can start analyzing your projects right away.

The Supervisor role gives access to a centralized dashboard: a view of every project submitted by team members, integrity score tracking, and delivery history. The platform supports five collaboration roles (owner, editor, commenter, supervisor, and viewer) to match access levels to each context (freelance, school, studio). It is designed so post-production leads and instructors can stay in control without micromanaging.

A session is a group of projects sharing a common base: a teaching exercise with several student projects tied to the same brief, or a production project with several different edit proposals around the same topic. Sessions let supervisors set a brief and a deadline, and track every related submission from a centralized dashboard.

PDF report export is being improved. The current version works but has room to grow. A more complete integration (integrity score plus structured report included in deliveries) is planned for the near future. In the meantime, you can share analysis results directly from the interface.
